Subject [jira] [Updated] (CB-883) SplashScreen without show() method, only hide()
Date Thu, 07 Jun 2012 19:04:23 GMT

Aurelien MERCIER updated CB-883:
--------------------------------

          Component/s: Android
          Description:
Using the SplashScreen plugin from cordova, I'm unable to manage the splashscreen. It works
fine when I load the app for the first time using loadUrl with a timeout. However, in my case
I have to do a redirection to another part of the website and even if using the same loadUrl
method with same timeout. Why can't we use splashDialog.show()/hide() instead of dismiss?
Btw I did a quick hack to use the protected method showSplashScreen in DroidGap) but that
doesn't work.

I was wondering if there is any plan for providing show/hide method as it was the case for
the iphone version?

Thanks,
    Affects Version/s: 1.8.0
                       1.7.0
Summary: SplashScreen without show() method, only hide() (was: SplashScreen
