Simon MacDonald commented on CB-924:
------------------------------------

I have no idea. On the Samsung devices I have once you take a picture it gets added to the
gallery, then when we run the compression on the returned picture and store it in the content
database that too is added to the gallery. This results in two entries in the gallery for
each picture taken. I had to put in code to detect if we run into this double insertion scenario
and delete the original picture.

> Project: Apache Cordova
> Issue Type: Sub-task
> Components: Android
> Environment: This seems to be default behaviour on a Nexus S running 2.3.6 (always
saves to Gallery regardless of option specified)
> On a Galaxy Nexus running 4.0.2, it _never_ seems to save to Gallery.

> {{CameraOptions}} support a property {{saveToPhotoAlbum}}, which is not implemented on
Android.
> Allows for a a returned picture from the {{getPicture}} API to be saved directly to the
Gallery application upon taking the picture.
