Shazron Abdullah commented on CB-614:
-------------------------------------

this is all updated in 1.7.0:
http://git-wip-us.apache.org/repos/asf?p=incubator-cordova-ios.git;a=blobdiff;f=CordovaLib/Classes/debugview/CDVDebugWebView.h;h=2ff720c137df7bebb3116d1624e271b96a9d2146;hp=232d3200ca4dbd346f7bfdc4ec5fbb655341fb22;hb=0b2f98c824c304c08ed46c56fdfef4cad962eee3;hpb=f51e8339423e67ca00e9105c0e927a1a9a0e4a73

No where does it mention using .m - I corrected your misconception in maxogden's comment.
That first error is expected.

I'll look into the second error.

> I'm trying to use/test the new awesome exception debugging for Cordova that shipped with
1.7.0rc1
> First of all, "CDVDebugWebView.m" would not compile with packaged version without this
conditional in the header:
> {quote}
> #ifdef CORDOVA_FRAMEWORK
> #import <Cordova/CDVCordovaView.h>
> #else
> #import "CDVCordovaView.h"
> #endif
> {quote}
> By the way, using "CDVDebugWebView.m" instead of "CDVDebugWebView.h" did not work in
my case (i get a file not found error) while it seems to work with the .h import. (comment
in https://github.com/apache/incubator-cordova-ios/commit/f22c4f218bd79825c9d96a23eb38b7d69f2b6f32)
> Then when it compiles, it appears to be enabled (get two popups, cordova is working &
cordova is in debug mode).
> However I get this error in Xcode :
> {quote}
> 2012-05-01 12:45:13.359 Cordova-1.7.0rc[13839:13703] Multi-tasking -> Device: YES,

> 	Line: cordova.fireDocumentEvent('active');

> Finally when trying to throw some exception, i just replace in given index.html "navigator.notification.alert("Cordova
is working")" by "throw "test trace";"
