No, you'll have to write a plugin to get the old UUID. I would caution against using that
since it is deprecated, and iOS 6 is rumoured to be released this summer possibly with this
function not included anymore.

If iOS behaves this way now -- Cordova can just generate one and put it in the keychain/NSUserDefaults,
and access that (subject to the same restrictions in the docs of course)
