Sam Krehnbrink commented on CB-446:
-----------------------------------

Please consider the Android filesystem conventions which typically do not include the 'sdcard'
prefix.

External/Public/Temporary storage location:

/Android/data/<package_name>/files/

Internal/Private/Persistent storage location:

/data/data/<package_name>/

The current workaround to use the Media object for Android is to prefix the file path with
"../..". This is used to account for the hardcoded path ("/mnt/sdcard") used by the Media
object.

> When playing local files on Android, if the audio file is not in the assets the folder
automatically assigns the '/sdcard/' prefix to the filepath. This should be made dynamic (i.e.
'/sdcard/' prefix only added if the filepath does not already start with '/mnt/sdcard/' or
'sdcard'.
