Subject [jira] [Created] (CB-586) correctOrientation not working/consistent
Date Thu, 26 Apr 2012 03:57:40 GMT
Offbeatmammal created CB-586:
--------------------------------

             Summary: correctOrientation not working/consistent
                 Key: CB-586
                 URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/CB-586
             Project: Apache Callback
          Issue Type: Bug
          Components: WP7
    Affects Versions: 1.6.1
         Environment: tested on WP7 (Mango)
            Reporter: Offbeatmammal
            Assignee: Jesse MacFadyen

when using the Camera API to take a photo the returned (stored) image is not correctly oriented
so if it's displayed on a form etc as confirmation it is (or appears to be) incorrect.
I am assuming there is exif data available so hopefully it would be possible to implement
as part of the framework.
Implementing something like jsjpegmeta [http://code.google.com/p/jsjpegmeta/] along with image
manipulation in javascript is probably less trivial that I'd like to undertake
