Subject [jira] [Commented] (CB-541) Add iOS Quirk for resume event
Date Tue, 24 Apr 2012 23:52:07 GMT

Shazron Abdullah commented on CB-541:

Here's what I would say:

iOS Quirk:
Interactive functions like alert() when the resume event fires will need to be wrapped in
a setTimeout call with a timeout value of zero, or else the app will hang. e.g.

document.addEventListener("resume", onResume, false);

function onResume() {
   setTimeout(function() {
          // TODO: do your thing!
        }, 0);

> See pause event's iOS Quirk. Interactive elements should not be displayed on resume,
it will hang the app. Wrap it in a setTimeout with timeout of zero.
