Subject [jira] [Updated] (CB-586) correctOrientation not working/consistent
Date Thu, 26 Apr 2012 03:59:32 GMT

Offbeatmammal updated CB-586:
-----------------------------

    Description:
when using the Camera API to take a photo the returned (stored) image is not correctly oriented
so if it's displayed on a form etc as confirmation it is (or appears to be) incorrect.

Notes in the docs indicate that it's ignored on all platforms...

I am assuming there is exif data available so hopefully it would be possible to implement
as part of the framework.
Implementing something like jsjpegmeta [http://code.google.com/p/jsjpegmeta/] along with image
manipulation in javascript is probably less trivial that I'd like to undertake
