Richard Kimber commented on CB-362:
-----------------------------------

It had never actually occurred to me to use an anchor to do anything other than spawn an external
app (i.e. dialer, mail, maps or browser). As Patrick says, I assumed the default was a single
app with JavaScript navigation.

Can this not be achieved cross device through the JavaScript API?

> A link such as this:
> {noformat}<a href="http://google.com" target="_blank">Google</a>{noformat}
> should open by default in the device's web browser, without being explicitly allowed
in the plist (externalhosts).
> This is the current (and, imo, expected) behaviour on Android.
