Subject [jira] [Updated] (BLUR-290) NRT Updates using RAMDirectory & Swap
Date Thu, 14 Nov 2013 14:37:39 GMT

Ravikumar updated BLUR-290:

I am attaching some untested source files here. It only takes care of the writing part.

How exactly it interacts with reading/scoring/segment-file-deletes etc..., I am still trying
to find

But I am pretty sure that once we are able to locate the RowId for a given DocId cheaply,
doing aggregate-scores, super-scores etc... should be simple. [Something like Lucene-Join-Util's
TermsWithScoreCollector class]

Please take a look at the attached sources and let me know your views on this and if my direction
is correct

> We have been discussing about handling humungous rows in Blur (BLUR-220). Explore the
idea of using RAMDirectory at the front, backed by persistent-index.
