Subject [jira] [Commented] (BLUR-148) Need to warm up new segments after NRT reloads
Date Mon, 24 Jun 2013 14:54:20 GMT

Aaron McCurry commented on BLUR-148:

I have extracted some methods in the IndexWarmup class to make dealing AtomicReaders easier.;a=commit;h=c38254966b0fdf1aff013f31b81f0b220d1999b0

In the method:

private void warm(IndexReader reader, Iterable<String> preCacheCols, IndexWarmup indexWarmup,
Map<String, List<IndexTracerResult>> sampleIndex, String context, AtomicBoolean

IndexReader should be changed to AtomicReader so the correct method is called on the IndexWarmup.

> Need to call the warm index code on new segments after the NRT writer creates a new segment.
Will also need to add a new state for the shardServerLayoutState call.
