Aaron McCurry commented on BLUR-110:
------------------------------------

Both the BlurOutputFormat and Thrift mutates use the TransactionRecorder class (there's a
static method they both use) to convert BlurRecords into Documents. That would probably be
a good place to check family and column names. I think all the other checks in the BlurShardServer
and BlurControllerServer classes. Let me know if you have more questions. Thanks!

> I think that we should allow [A-Za-z0-9_-] in the names of things in Blur. Any other
letters at this point? I would be ok with UTF-8 letters just not special characters, but
it's kind of hard to know what is not a special in other character sets. So I was thinking
we can start with the simplest check.
