Commentary

+

1. After you execute ./nc_stu command, if there is a segment error, please check your Linux system and make sure the artsd has been opened. Student client depends on the artsd service. If you can't open artsd, consult the system administrator for detail.

+

2. When configuring the network, fill in the class server IP address and port correctly. More important, the Receive Port must be greater than 1024. You can modify the settings according to the prompt.

+

3. During the login server phase, if you can't login successful, check your user name first. Maybe you forgot enter your user name or the user name was too long. There may be another student using the same user name. If the problem still exists, check your network configuration, especially the IP address and port of class server.

+

4. Once in a while the Join Class dialog may close automatically. Then, please click the Join Class button and choose one class again.
+ If there is no class after you open the Join Class dialog, make sure that teacher has created a class and reload the dialog.

+

5. When you find that you can't get focus, maybe teacher is too busy to notice your requirement or other student has been specified as focus. Please wait a moment and ask for focus later.

+

6. During the class, if you find that your system freezes up, you can reload your system. The reason may be the teacher exit class by accident.

+

7. If there is no voice during communication, make sure that your microphone is working. You can test your microphone by other program.
