Yes, I can ping the server from the agent and vice versa using both the hostname, and the IP
address.

Regards,
Anisha

Hello,
Are you able to ping Ambari server machine from the agent machine?
Please use the exact host names mentioned in the error message.
Regards,
Srimanth

Hi All,

I am trying to install a cluster using:
1. Code pulled from the git repository. (I pulled on 08/26)
2. Using the APIs for the install.

During the transition step from INIT to INSTALLED, I see some errors in the log files (attached
the log files)

On the ambari-agent side, I see:
INFO 2013-08-28 15:01:39,874 security.py:89<http://security.py:89/> - SSL Connect being
called.. connecting to the server
INFO 2013-08-28 15:01:40,023 security.py:51<http://security.py:51/> - SSL connection
established. Two-way SSL authentication is turned off on the server.

to connect to: https://node01.local.com:8441/agent/v1/heartbeat/node02.local.com due to No

And, on the server side, I get:

The unit tests are all passing fine, and there was no problem running the build. The Hadoop
install fails when I get these errors.

Any idea about what this could be?

Thanks,
Anisha
