However, it retrieves all repos, not just the HDP ones (also HDP-epel), so you'll have to decide how best to use them.

Batch setting:  this is much more complicated, so in order to meet code freeze it is not batched.  The complication is that it is not mandatory to use the OS name when formulating a URL, so specifying a base may erroneously overwrite other working URLs.  If we are mandating that the OS name is used (in the format that we have pre-determined), then let's file a JIRA to do that to specify how we make a repo URL.
