Subject [jira] [Created] (AMBARI-1418) Administrator credentials entered during advanced setup not stored
Date Tue, 12 Feb 2013 20:01:12 GMT
Terry Padgett created AMBARI-1418:
-------------------------------------

Summary: Administrator credentials entered during advanced setup not stored
                 Key: AMBARI-1418
                 URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/AMBARI-1418
             Project: Ambari
          Issue Type: Bug
    Affects Versions: 1.2.1
Environment: EC2 RHEL 6.3 64-bit created with "default" AMI
            Reporter: Terry Padgett
            Priority: Critical

During the setup of the Ambari server the "advanced database configuration" option was selected.
When prompted to enter a user name for the administration user name a non-default entry was
made. After the completion of the setup, the login attempt with the user was not successful.
Entered a value of admin/admin for user/pass and was able to log in as the administrator.
