I verified that it does work with the /faces/* mapping and filed issue
ADFFACES-177.  Thanks very much for your help.

Looks like selectInputDate fails when you use JSF suffix
mapping (e.g., *.jsf instead of /faces/*).  Could you file a JIRA
issue for that?
