The closest thing I can think of as being related to this is IMPALA-5909, where a problem
with HDFS code causes excessive logging. However, I don't think that matches this statement,
and it is a bug.

If the sole source for this is me, then I don't think it should be included. I don't remember
what I said originally (and it may have been ambiguous), but I don't currently think this
statement is true.
