Alexander Behm resolved IMPALA-147.
-----------------------------------
    Resolution: Won't Fix

For better or for worse, this behavior is expected.

> Impala query fails if path in HDFS changes between planning and running the query
> ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------
>
> Key: IMPALA-147
> URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/IMPALA-147
> Project: IMPALA
> Issue Type: Bug
> Components: Backend
> Affects Versions: Impala 0.3, Impala 2.5.0
> Reporter: Nong Li
> Priority: Minor
>
> In this case, data is being loaded into HDFS as the query is running. The tmp _COPY
files get moved. One or more of the files returned by the planner is doesn't exist when the
BE tries to read it.
> The entire query fails regardless of abort_on_error. We could do better and just return
the results for the files that did get parsed and return the number of skipped bytes.
