Subject Reducing memory footprint
Date Mon, 14 Mar 2016 19:15:56 GMT
Hello Ignite experts and enthusiasts,

Is it possible to reduce Apache Ignite memory footprint? As how I've
profiled it the range is 150 to 300 Mb (caching is almost disabled). These
measurements align with a few answers from this thread

The idea is to use Apache Ignite as a Vert.x cluster manager
<http://vertx.io/docs/vertx-hazelcast/> instead of Hazelcast. Our
application is lightweight and we'd like to keep the Apache Ignite usage
within 150 Mb...

I've tried the suggested performance optimization from this doc
<https://apacheignite.readme.io/docs/performance-tips> , but memory usage
has been almost the same.
