Ivan Veselovsky edited comment on IGNITE-5044 at 4/28/17 2:48 PM:

The task runs Okay when the Hive job is run with property {{ignite.job.shared.classloader=false}}
for Hive this can be achieved with
 {code}  HIVE_HOME/bin/hive --hiveconf ignite.job.shared.classloader=false .. {code} .
So, this actually is a duplicate of IGNITE-4720 .

To query actual property value in Hive job, the following Hive query can be launched: "set
ignite.job.shared.classloader" .

As per my observations, --hiveconf k=v option does not pass properties when used with "beeline
 -u jdbc:hive2:// " . At the same time "--hiveconf k=v" works fine with "hiveserver2 ; beeline
 -u jdbc:hive2://localhost:1000/ " , as well as with "hive  ..." with local connection .

was (Author: iveselovskiy):
Experiments in my local environment (very simplified, e.g. w/o IGFS) do not show the SIGSEGV
crash, but also show this query failure (with a very strange NPE from hive code).
But the following observation may be useful: the task runs Okay when run with property {{ignite.job.shared.classloader=false}}
 {code}  HIVE_HOME/bin/hive --hiveconf ignite.job.shared.classloader=false .. {code} .
This suggests that this may be duplicate of IGNITE-4720 .
