Subject [jira] [Commented] (IGNITE-1526) IBM JDK is not fully supported by the platfrom

Valentin Kulichenko commented on IGNITE-1526:
---------------------------------------------

Denis,

Are you saying that setting {{serialVersionUID}} for all serializable classes will fix the
issue? If so, this is definitely *much* easier than switching to portable marshaller everywhere.
And it's always a good idea to get rid of anonymous serializable classes anyway :)

Our {{ClassesGenerator}} class that generates {{classnames.properties}} file checks each serializable
class for {{serialVersionUID}}, but now it skips anonymous classes (see {{!cls.getSimpleName().isEmpty()}}
on line 213). Removing this {{if}} will show the list of classes that need to be reworked.

> There are several issue related to IBM JDK.
> 1) It's not possible to compile the platform using IBM JDK ver 1.7;
> 2) Besides of the fact that two IBM nodes can connect to each other some functionality
still doesn't work. As an example {{CacheClientPortablePutGetExample}} fails with the following
