Subject [jira] [Commented] (IGNITE-1203) Cluster Discovery via ZooKeeper

Raúl Kripalani commented on IGNITE-1203:
----------------------------------------

I doubt there's any synergy there. Both technologies can use the same ZooKeeper clusters for
coordination, but their ZK trees should be completely isolated.

Root path of the Ignite ZK tree should be configurable, with a default value "/ignite", to
avoid interfering with Spark.

> From their site:
> bq. ZooKeeper is a centralised service for maintaining configuration information, naming,
providing distributed synchronisation, and providing group services.
> It is used by Kafka, Hadoop Yarn, HBase and many other technologies as a distributed
service registry and discovery directory.
> It would be nice to support cluster discovery via ZK.
