I am pretty sure it worked for me. Off-hands I see 
    <property name="secondaryHadoopFileSystemConfigPath"
    value="/home/qxw/hadoop/hadoop-2.6.0/etc/hadoop/core-site.xml"/>

I think you need to point to hdfs-site.xml. But I don't have that cluster
handy right now...
