This might work:

public class UUIDTypeHandler implements TypeHandlerCallback {
    @Override
    public void setParameter(ParameterSetter setter, Object parameter)
throws SQLException {
        setter.setObject(parameter);
    }

    @Override
    public Object getResult(ResultGetter getter) throws SQLException {
        return getter.getObject();
    }

    @Override
    public Object valueOf(String s) {
        return UUID.fromString(s);
    }
}

Add this in your sqlmapconfig.xml:

<typeAlias alias="UUID" type="java.util.UUID" />
<typeHandler javaType="UUID" callback="UUIDTypeHandler"/>
