Not that I want to get into an argument about frameworks..... for me spring and springmvc was the 'path of least resistance' for me to take care of this in the shortest amount of time. My vote is guice(DI) with stripes as the controller and jQuery UI for the front end.

I'm not really opposed to wicket, but springmvc is just what I have bee= n
working with for the past 2 years when I've done web work, so obviously= I'm
more comfortable there.

Not to be a complainer, but I'm not really looking to learn anymore web=
frameworks at the moment.

How about Spring and Wicket?

Would you be opposed to:

Spring for dependency injection
Spring-mvc for the web framework

=A0 Hi all,

=A0 If anyone would like to write JPetStore 6, please let me know. =A0 =A0= Key
things to do:

=A0 =A0 * Upgrade it to iBATIS 3
=A0 =A0 * Ditch the DAO layer entirely
=A0 =A0 * Ditch the proprietary web framework
=A0 =A0 * Fix my very poor CSS and reskin the look
=A0 =A0 * Use Stripes as the web framework
=A0 =A0 * Use Guice for Dependency Injection (a Mapper Provider would
=A0 work very well in Guice!)

=A0 That said, if you have another example you would like to donate to
=A0 the project, that's great.
=A0 We'll review all submissions, and they'll become part of the =A0 iBATIS project.
=A0 Read this about source contributions:

=A0 = http://www.apache.org/licenses/icla.txt

=A0 You will get full credit and a link to your website (pending
=A0 content review) on our team page in the "thanks" section.
=A0 Of course, the other way is to just create your own project
=A0 anywhere you like, do it however you like, and maintain your own
=A0 rights and license -- we'd be happy to link to you.
=A0 Cheers,
=A0 Clinton
