Hi,

which (exact) version of iBATIS are you using? Which (exact) version of the Oracle driver
are you using? Which 
java version are you using? Were you using exactly the same driver and java version when you
did your 
comparison between ibatis and plain jdbc?

I'm asking all this stuff because I had a lot of troubles with oracle drivers depending on
the java version.
