Subject RE: mapping GUID to UUID

This could easily be done by implementing 'TypeHandlerCallback', there
is some information about it in the javadoc, after that you can map
properties to it using the following syntax:

resultMap:

<result property="myUUID" column="my_guid"
typeHandler="UUIDTypeHandler"/>

parameterMap:

<parameter property="myUUID" typeHandler="UUIDTypeHandler"/>

There is also a good WIKI-entry about this, but unfortunately it is
broken...

Hope this helps,

Niels

Subject: mapping GUID to UUID

Is there a possibility with iBatis to map a MS Access/SQL GUID (16 Byte
replication ID)
to the java.util.UUID class or a customized subclass of it?

Or is there a recommended method to customize java.util.UUID so that it
can be passed
through the iBatis framework and be assignend to a
Binary(128)-Attribute?

Cheers,
JoHo
