Subject [jira] Commented: (IBATIS-230) Warn when two ids of a <sql> tag are identical
Date Tue, 21 Feb 2006 23:16:26 GMT

Sven Boden commented on IBATIS-230:

This is also something I would like to fix around the end of the week, if no complaints:

When you have 2 <sql> includes in an SqlMap with the same id you currently don't get
an error message, and the last one takes precedence. This can lead to some unexpected results.
i would like to throw an exception on duplicate id's.

The exception would be different behaviour as currently is the case, but if someone would
be using "duplicate" <sql> they would see it the moment they start up with the changes,
and it requires only SqlMap changes to fix it, no application source code changes.
