You need to apply this fix on top of apr 1.5.0:

http://svn.apache.org/viewvc/apr/apr/branches/1.5.x/network_io/unix/sockets.c?r1=1551672&r2=1551671&pathrev=1551672

If you're not using apr 1.5.0, you might be encountering something else.
