Yes, good point, thanks.

I'll probably go with a similar approach, and use ProxyPass instead of
rewrite rules controlling access, except that i'll try to enumerate the
required contexts and use a default deny policy:

ProxyPass /foo ajp://
ProxyPass /bar ajp://
ProxyPass /baz ajp://
