Subject [users@httpd] More info...
Date Tue, 15 Feb 2011 12:46:41 GMT
Hi,

I just realised I didn't give much info in my previous post about
Apache's memory output.
OK, here is more info.
In httpd.conf I have:

<IfModule prefork.c>
StartServers       8
MinSpareServers    5
MaxSpareServers   20
ServerLimit      20
MaxClients      20
MaxRequestsPerChild  1500
</IfModule>

It's a Linux box:

[root@centos555208 etc]# uname -a
Linux centos555208 2.6.18-164.11.1.el5 #1 SMP Wed Jan 20 07:32:21 EST
2010 x86_64 x86_64 x86_64 GNU/Linux
[root@centos555208 etc]#

And I am still getting this with top:

3Gb for a process seems a _little_ excessive!

Merc.
