I've added a bit of a hack now for port 443, but it doesn't work
perfectly yet. I can access the top level domain but not the request
uri... so when i try it
redirects me to I've tried looking at the request
uri, but it just has basically. Everything works
great for port 80.

        <Proxy *>
                RewriteEngine on
                RewriteCond %{SERVER_PORT} ^80$
                RewriteCond %{HTTP_HOST} !^$
                RewriteCond %{HTTP_HOST} !^$ [NC]
                RewriteRule ^(.+)${REQUEST_URI} [L]

                Rewritecond %{SERVER_PORT} ^443$ [NC]
                RewriteCond %{HTTP_HOST} !^$ [NC]
                RewriteCond %{HTTP_HOST} !^$
                RewriteRule ^(.+)?:443${HTTP_HOST} [L]
                Order allow,deny
                Allow from all
