Subject [users@httpd] Virtualhost config file precedence
Date Mon, 13 Jul 2009 14:40:09 GMT
I am using Ubuntu 9.04, using the build in vhost management scripts
such as a2ensite/a2dissite.

I am also using namebased virtualhost. (NameVirtualHost *:80), which I
have serveral vhost scripts under /etc/apache2/sites-available, in the
format such as...

<VirtualHost *:80>

DocumentRoot ...
ServerName www.example1.com

</VirtualHost>

The problem is:

All the vhosts are listening on the same IP, but if I type my server
IP without specifying the Host header, the vhost start with letter "a"
will be a high priority then "b".

But I want to use "b" if no Host header if specified.

Any idea?
