You may need to download the (x86) version depending on whats running on your computer. Worst case scenario uninstall apache, download the right Microsoft Visual C++ 2005 Redistributable Package (I believe there is a 2008 version too) and reinstall Apache. It took me a few times to get it right myself. I hope this helps.
