Maybe something like this:

RewriteEngine On
RewriteCond %{HTTP_HOST} ^www\.merill-lynch\.com$
RewriteRule .* http://www.b-of-a.com [R=301,L]

or

RewriteEngine On
RewriteCond %{HTTP_HOST} ^www\.merill-lynch\.com$
Redirect permanent .* http://www.b-of-a.com
