Subject Issue with caching in Apache
Date Thu, 18 Dec 2008 07:36:40 GMT
Hi All,
There is an issue I am getting. We are having a cache server and the main
download server. Both are using Apache webserver. When the request from the
client comes and if it is for the new file ,the request gets propagated to
the main download server and next time onwards the request is being served
from the Cache server itself.

Now issue is that this cache server being a 3rd party we don't have access
to see the apache access_log or the configuration file. The behavior what we
are observing is, from the browser when we are sending request to the
caching server for a particular file, it is being served properly and the
file required to be downloaded is getting downloaded properly.

But when the request comes from the client for the download of the same
file, the download happens but we get the download file size as 0.

So anybody if has come across the above issue and what was the work around
it would be of great help to me.

Thanks in advance
-A
