Subject [users@httpd] Multiple paths targeting the same webapp
Date Wed, 24 Sep 2008 13:18:14 GMT

Hi,

I would like to have different urls targeting the same webapp on Tomcat.
I'm using mod_jk 1.2.23.

I have two urls : http://myhost/mywebapp1/index.do and
http://myhost/mywebapp2/index.do.
Now I want these urls to target the same tomcat webapp.
Incoming requests on /mywebapp1 and /webapp2 have to target /mywebapp
without changing the url of the user.
How can I do this ? Notice, that I have to use mod_jk for the ajp dialog.
mod_proxy_ajp is not suitable in my context.
For now, I have to copy my webapp twice on Tomcat (webapp1 and webapp2).

<VirtualHost myhost:80>
...
JkMount /mywebapp1/*.do myworker
JkMount /mywebapp2/*.do myworker
...
</VirtualHost>

Is there a better way to do this ?

Regards,
