ls -l /usr/share/apache2/build/   shows "envvars-std"
Also I don't have 'httpd -l'

I installed apache2 using Synaptic. So I didn't compile it myself. So I
guess to refine my question, how on Ubuntu do I find out what modules are
compiled in?

Here is some more info
The command *dpkg -l apache2** returns
