Subject Re: [users@httpd] rotatelogs with error_log
Date Mon, 17 Dec 2007 15:42:30 GMT
On Dec 16, 2007, S.A. Birl (nospam-sbirl+Apache-List@temple.edu.ns) typed:

Birl: ErrorLog "|/usr/local/apache/bin/rotatelogs /usr/local/apache/logs/publish1_error__%Y%m%d
86400 -300"
Birl:
Birl: I did a graceful and Apache created
Birl: publish1_access_20071216
Birl: publish1_rewrite_20071216
Birl:
Birl: but keeps logging to error_log instead of publish1_error__20071216
Birl:
Birl: Nothing in error_log to indicate an error. What am I overlooking?

Created the file sometime later. I guess Apache just needed something
to log.

Thanks
 Birl
