Short Answer: No.

Long Answer: Mod rewrite is used to change incoming request URLs. You
can't use mod rewrite the change the content of the html files send to
the client. You can however use mod_rewrite so that when a request
comes for /Image/My-Image.jpg/1234 this is mapped /Media/1234.jpg
