Win98 cant even run wamp2, apache1.0.2, php2, mysql1.0. I have no clue why you are so reluctant because PHP is availible on all platforms now (in fact, windows is only recent -- php2 was the first version to be released for windows. windows 2000 to be exact.) Linux is going to be alot more stable for what you want. I have one (1) windows apache php mysql machine and it has its issues (usually because PHP5 was NOT made for windows, it was made for Linux/UNIX.) Ubuntu server (6.06 is really stable) has an option to install Apache, PHP and MySQL out of the box -- just select "LAMP INSTALL" from the boot menu. if you HAVE to use windows though, 2000 is the only route that sounds like it should be able to handle your hardware. -- Morgan gangwere "Space does not reflect society, it expresses it." -- Castells, M., Space of Flows, Space of Places: Materials for a Theory of Urbanism in the Information Age, in The Cybercities Reader, S.
