Well...

AuthDBDUserPWQuery "select password from users where username='%s'"

the % in %s for sure that is the username that cames in HTTP AUTH as the 
docs describe in:
http://httpd.apache.org/docs/2.2/mod/mod_authn_dbd.html

So... why isn't apache sending the username, anyone?
