It looks like the request is landing in a VH where the UseCanonicalName and ServerName directives
are such that the self-referential redirect is switching to HTTP. See http://httpd.apache.org/docs/2.0/mod/core.html#usecanonicalname

If you don't get it, post back with VH configs. It would also help if you could reveal your
real domain-name, then we could test it instead of guessing...
