Subject RE: [users@httpd] Getting Apache to use PHP under Window XP
Date Fri, 02 Jun 2006 01:09:03 GMT
Based upon previous suggestions, I tried that last night. Effectively, there
was no change in behaviour, so I just have to believe the problem is a
little more fundamental.

What irks me is that there are a number of LoadModule mod_xxxxxxx
modules/yyyyyyyyyy.so
commands immediately after my entry, and they all work (at least without any
indication of error). I cut/paste from the example and just changed it to
read modules/ instead of a direct path. And then I copied the .dll into the
modules folder of Apache. Still bad.

My next step is to run a File Access trace and weed through the several
thousand lines of output to see what is happening internally. UGH!

Subject: [users@httpd] Apache 2.2.2 , PHP5.1.4 on Windows XP

Hi.

Peter Schmits knows how to set these up to operate together.

He sent me the link

HYPERLINK
"http://www.apachelounge.com/download/mods/php5apache2.dll-php5.1.x.zip"http
://www.apachelounge.com/download/mods/php5apache2.dll-php5.1.x.zip,

and followed the instructions. There were no problems and it all works
fine.

Ted.
