I believe you need to specify the ldapsdk, e.g. Iplanet or OpenLDAP, to
build against by adding the following when you configure the Apache
source.
--with-ldap-include=<ldap_sdk_dir>/include
--with-ldap-lib=<ldap_sdk_dir>/lib
