Subject [users@httpd] Forbidden

Amazon will eventually send the Apache books, meanwhile can anyone
explain why both of my vhosted web sites display FORBBIDEN? And when
browsing http://localhost I see the Apache Success html! My
APatchyServer is v_2.0.54)
Perhaps I need to modify the .htaccess file? The docs at apache.org
arenĀ“t helping.

I tried nesting the Directory directives "inside" the <VirtualHost>
</VirtualHost> without effect.
My W2K box has file permissions for the domain directories set to
read-only. Otherwise, all was cool when I had just one domain to host!

afaik you should put the directory directives *inside* the vh sections, 
not outside
