But on Linux, only the .pag file gets created. Beacause of this, authentication fails on Linux. For using module mod_auth_dbm, We did following settings in httpd.conf file, ************************************************************* AuthName "Restricted Area" AuthDBMType DB AuthType basic Require valid-user AuthDBMUserFile "/home/apache2/Apache64_worker/install_debug/AuthFile" ************************************************************* and mod_auth_dbm gives following error: [Mon May 30 13:10:14 2005] [error] [client 172.26.1.26] (120002)APR does not understand this error code: could not open dbm (type DB) auth file: /home/apache2/Apache64_worker/install_debug/AuthFile2 [Mon May 30 13:10:14 2005] [error] [client 172.26.1.26] DBM user user1 not found: /home/apache2/Apache64_worker/install_debug/Auth/auth_dbm.html Please help.
