Subject RE: [users@httpd] Apache will not start at boot, but startup script work fine

Plain text please...

Probably your LD_LIBRARY_PATH is not set in the start-up shell. "echo $LD_LIBRARY_PATH" in
the login shell then set that it to that in the start-script.

For future, avoid problems with LD_LIBRARY_PATH by compiling in paths using the LDFLAGS env.

Rgds,
Owen Boyle

Subject: [users@httpd] Apache will not start at boot, but startup script work fine

Solaris 9 x86
At bootup, I get the error "ld.so.1: httpd: fatal: libgcc_s.so.1: open failed: No such file
or directory".
Apache does not get started.
After the system is up and running, I can go to /etc/rc3.d and run S88httpd manually and all
runs fine.
Does anyone have any thoughts?
Thank you in advance.
