Subject: [users@httpd] Configuring Apache

Apologies for a simple question from a Newbie, but I can't find it in
the documentation.

I've set the DocumentRoot to the directory containing my web pages.

But unless I add the <index.htm> to the address I get a 403 Forbidden
message!

What am I missing?

Regards

Adrian Cobley

# DirectoryIndex: sets the file that Apache will serve if a directory
